Cornwall - 52 Photo Project - Week 23

OK so I admit it  - we have been away. However I do mean it that I will be blogging less but I have to keep up with my 52 week photo project. I shall keep this brief though as it is late, I'm tired as I drove back today and I've already unpacked and done 2 loads of washing with much more to be done tomorrow as well as family stuff.

We went to Cornwall and we glamped. We stayed in a fandabulous yurt on the North Cornish Coast which I may well do a review on 'drektly'. As well as glamping it up we were visiting family and I took literally hundreds of pictures. We managed a day on the beach, we saw puppies, the girls had pony rides, we visited the Eden Project, we got wet and muddy, sunburnt and (very) windswept. We had a barbecue over a firepit and huddled up to a log burner. It was quite definitely a week of contrasts. I debated long and hard on what picture to use as it was all so different but in the end I plumped for this one.

It typifies Cornwall with the trees bent by the wind, it was wet and green and there is of course a Union Jack because after all it was the Queen's Diamond Jubilee last week too.

  15. Ooh, I'd be really interested to read a review of your glamping trip. We're reviewing a glamping holiday near Newquay next month and I'm starting to panic about a) persuading my camping phobic husband it'll be fun and b) glamping with a toddler. Any tips?!
