It was the National Trust's Free Day Out last weekend and we made the most of it by a visit to historic Petworth House. As well as the house they also have amazing grounds with beautiful flowers so I give you - Macro Monday - the Petworth edition....
Beautiful flowers and one impressive gnarly tree. My favorite shot by far is the first one. Those vivid colors are just out of this world. Gorgeous blue, white, green, and yellow. genie
I love spring time and the flowers. Only on Saturday we were at a National Trust property here in Scotland and I was taking pictures of flowers too! I love doing the macro capturing the colours and textures! My wee man likes to get close and try and smell them and says they are "pretty" (though I think that is because I say wow look at the pretty flowers) Sorry I'm rambling. Lovely photos x
Apologies for the word verification but I am getting so many spam comments I have had to activate it for a while. Thank you for bearing with me and commenting - comments really do make my day :)

Pretty flowers. I have a think for interesting bark and I like the gnarly tree you found.
ReplyDeleteThank you. The bark was fascinating - I don't know what tree it was though.

I'm not sure it was strictly speaking wild - more naturalised - but beautiful nether the less.
