Macro Monday

I thought I would do a post about some of the common wildflowers here in the UK this week. Some of them are so common they are often thought of as weeds but they can still be beautiful.

A Wild Rose

Buttercup

Red clover

the (very) Common Daisy

the (slightly less) Common Orchid

Linking up as always with Macro Monday and also with Today's Flowers

  2. exquisite... would be lovely to share with I Heart Macro too:-) I am passionate about "weed/wildflowers"... often I prefer them to cultivars... something so appealing about their tenacity and often tender appearance, year after year.

  3. I enjoy seeing wildflowers around the world, many we have too. Your common daisy is tinged with pink - that I like!
