Well it's New Years Eve and time to reflect on the past year and to look forward to the next one. It feels like weeks since I last posted but in reality it's only about 10 days. This month has been hard to find the time but I may, just may continue next year.
As for the last 10 days, it's been a bit more relaxed, although strange at times. We were very glad to have arranged to have Christmas at Grandma's when the power went off at 12.30am on Christmas Eve (just after I had wrapped the last pressie - phew) and according to our neighbours did not come back on until lunchtime on Boxing Day. Our thoughts were with our friends, neighbours and fellow villagers who found various ways to cook the turkey ranging from the BBQ to the woodburner with lots of community spirit. Since we came home it has mainly rained a lot and we have watched films and played games but we managed to escape on Sunday to the
Enchanted Story Trail at RHS Wisley (on until 5th Jan if you want to go) and I got to play with my new camera (squeee - thank you Rollercoaster Dad!)
To go and check out how everyone has finished off their year head on over to The Boy and Me:
Lovely pictures as always. I do like your homemade Christmas wreath. Some great pictures of the girls at Christmas too. Looks like they had a lovely time.

That RHS venue looks amazing, lovely light. I also like the look of that playground, it's brilliant when they take time to design a good area for children. Your girls are beautiful, so lovely.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up to Project 365 this year and well done on completing the year.
