Twas a swarm of bees - just off the route of the school run. I don't think I've ever actually seen a swarm before and it was pretty impressive. I wasn't that close - a couple of metres probably and to be honest they didn't seem that bothered as long as I wasn't bothering them. I think someone from the local beekeepers association came to pick them up later. Thank you as always for all your lovely comments x
