See it Snap it Love it - Sky (and bloggers half term block)

I have struggled with blogging these Easter holidays. I just seem to have been so busy with doing stuff, days out, family, starting a new job, trying to keep on top of the housework (in my rather non houseworking fashion). I haven't even taken many photos. You'd think I'd take loads with the kids at home but I have been sapped of all energy and some things - like this afternoons visit to an enormous soft play centre are not really conducive to photo taking opportunities. Although I do wish I had had my camera with me on the way home as we saw the most awesomely beautiful and clear rainbows ever (rare rainbows as Little Miss Star kept calling them!) They would have been perfect for the theme of 'Sky' in the new photo photo challenge on the block - See it, Snap it, Love it from Dear Beautiful Boy

Never mind I did manage a couple of sky pics last week when we went to Southampton and with a bit of Picnik doctoring (I'm soo going to miss Picnik!) they look pretty cool if I do say so myself! One I posted in last week's Silent Sunday and this is the other one:

Then today when we got home I took this pic from the garden which I think isn't bad and it's not even doctored (not a rainbow though!). I loved the clouds and there was still that stormy look in the sky.

If you'd like to see some more beautiful sky pictures or link up with Dear Beautiful Boy then click the badge. Oh and next week's theme is 'Red'. What am I going to do for that one?!
